“I love NASCAR, so I took an interest in Spire Motorsports after reading Kyle Busch sold them his truck series assets,” said Danny Dodd, Alset EV’s Co-Founder and CEO. “The timing aligned with our name rebranding and desire to present ourselves to the world of motorsports.”
Dodd hopes to teach drivers about low speed vehicles and how they’re not golf carts. In Florida, low speed vehicles can be registered and driven legally on the streets if the speed limit doesn’t exceed 35mph. As Florida and other state laws evolve, more people are opting to drive their golf cart versus their car to places like their local grocery story or restaurant. This change has caused law makers to welcome the entry of low speed vehicles, as LSVs have safety features not usually built into golf carts.
“Low speed vehicles have standard components like turn signal modules, headlights, taillights, horns, and even seatbelts that golf carts don’t need and aren’t required to have. Four wheel disk brakes and self-adjusting double-ended rack and pinion steering come standard on our vehicles,” says Dodd.
